This workshop delivers all the necessary building blocks to establish a safe and sound yoga practice. Starting from the ground up, you will explore and practice the 12 most common yoga poses found in a Flow class. You will also establish a comfortable understanding of the foundation of a yoga practice, including breath work, meditation, yoga etiquette and the history of yoga. Most of all, you will be able to navigate through a yoga class with ease, confidence and curiosity.
In this workshop you will learn about:
- Sun Salutation A
- Alignment & Safety of the most common postures
- How to use props and modifications
- Basic breathing techniques
- Brief Overview of the Discipline of Yoga
