We all experience stress on a daily basis. And for the most part, there is no escaping stress.
Work. Family. Finances. Car trouble. Health issues. Kids. Spouse. Community struggles. Traffic. Broken heart. Death. Loss of job.
You can learn the early warning signs (triggers) of stress, use holistic methods to regulate the everyday stresses in your life and release the hold that stress has on your mind, body and spirit.
When stress goes unmanaged, it has an alarming impact not only on our mental and emotional health, but on our physical bodies.
Awareness of stress triggers and regulation techniques is the focus in this workshop. This 2.5 hour workshop will lead students through a nurturing and stress melting asana practice. We will also discuss and practice calming pranayama (breathing) techniques and end with yoga nidra (guided meditation).
There is only one goal for this workshop: To learn and reflect on your life stressors in order to let go and lead a healthy life!
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us. No yoga experience necessary.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a journal. Pre-registration is required. A minimum of six participants are required for this offering.
