SPECIAL GUEST TEACHER:
Started her magical practice at Viva Flow...became a magical teacher...and has been fluttering around the world spreading her magic. We are happy to have her come back for one day only to teach us what she has learned.
Here's more about Rosie:
I wandered to the mat on the summer solstice of 2012, and from that point on it just felt good to be there. The timing was right in that moment of my life, and it continued to bloom over the course of my growing curiosity of Yoga. A Caribbean native growing up in the Kitsap Peninsula, nature and creativity became a solid foundation in my upbringing, always looking to explore the space around me. By seeing a shift in myself that felt like a benefit, the next year guided me towards teacher training with a dream to share a perspective. During the fall of 2013 the destination was set for Costa Rica to participate in a 3 week yoga teacher training intensive with Frog Lotus Yoga, receiving my 200 hour certification. I jumped right into teaching at a local studio, Viva Flow Yoga, upon returning home. Classes quickly became more of a creative project to bring about an experience rather then just a class. Playful music, writings, and a love for the natural world, set with an organic yet dynamic flow has been the foundation to bring an ‘outside the box’ look at your practice. As a teacher I simply see myself as a guide for you to respond to the information your body provides. I’ve been fortunate to practice with teachers such as Meghan Currie and Kino MacGregor, travel to the Domincan Republic for a work/trade program as a Yoga teacher, and live my passion, all of which have only inspired my practice and that which i share with students. Through continued practice and upcoming trainings I’ll proceed to unfold the philosophy and art of Yoga, exploring the deep stirrings of the mind-body, and connecting links to the creative self.
